I was recently at the Wembley Stadium for the UEFA Champions League (or UCL for short) and I was surprised by the variety of Halal selections to the delight of my tastebuds.
Read on as I will identify my favorite meals from each of the Halal restaurants listed below (and a bonus on the nearest London prayer facilities to every establishment!). Perfect for your upcoming games or concerts!
1. Peninsula Wembley
Distance from Wembley Stadium: 450 m (7-min walk)
Located in BOXPARK, Wembley’s vibrant food court, you can get your Malaysian and Indian fix here with authentic favorites such as Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai, and Banana Leaf Rice.
For the homesick Asian who misses the “mamak” flavors, this place hits the spot!

Within BOXPARK is a family-run burger joint you should check out that has become the talk of the town! With their oozing gravy-dipped burgers and tasty Mac & Cheese croquettes, it is impossible not to have a bite!

Located in London Designer Outlet, take a trip back to memory lane at this American diner with classics such as burgers, milkshakes, and fires.
The smoked meats here are super juicy and mouth-watering and I am still dreaming about them to this day! There are also vegetarian options here.
Note: all Big Moe’s diner branches serve Halal food! There is also quite a substantial service charge in this location.

There’s another famous joint that serves Halal food at London Designer Outlet and that is none other than Nando’s. Not all Nando’s branches are Halal but the ones at Wembley are Halal-friendly so you can eat to your heart’s content.

London is well-known for their Indian cuisine and Wembley Tandoori is no exception. Serving delicious Indian and Nepalese food, this is the place to be for a chill dining experience with friends or family!
Even if you aren’t feeling too hungry, you can grab some of their delicious appetizers such as their momos, a Nepalese steamed dumpling, or samosas. Great for vegetarians too!

A casual dining place for Turkish meals, it is a value-for-money place with great quality food at affordable prices where most mains are under £10. I loved how friendly and quick their service can be even if there is a crowd.
They also sell shared platters with generous portions if you have a large group.

We’ve shared lots of American and Indian food so it’s only fair we’ve added a Chinese option for some variety. Despite being an Indian fusion location, I enjoyed the Indo-Chinese dishes on the menu as well!
They have a fantastic selection for vegetarians as well and it is perfect for family gatherings.
