What is the HalalTrip Gastronomy Awards?
The HalalTrip Gastronomy Awards is a culinary accolade bestowed by HalalTrip and Singapore Halal Culinary Federation. This first-of-kind initiative is designed to celebrate the most outstanding halal dining experiences in Singapore.
The awards assess and review eateries, with a primary focus on culinary excellence. Eateries are awarded one to three diamonds based on plating creativity, balance of flavors, quality of food, innovation in menu, and the quality of dining experience.

Awards Classification
Eligible eateries in the HalalTrip Gastronomy Awards qualify for the Diamond Awards and the Best-in-Class Awards. A team of professional inspectors will dine anonymously at selected restaurants.
Diamond Awards
Eateries will receive 1, 2 or 3 diamonds depending on their evaluation scores surpassing 9 out of 10.
Best-in-Class Awards
Stand-out eateries that come out on top in each category are given the Best-in-Class Award.

Eateries are evaluated and awarded the Diamond award based on five criteria:

Recognising forerunners who harmonize culinary with environmental responsibility. This award celebrates establishments committed to sustainable practices – from responsible sourcing and waste reduction to eco-friendly packaging – while maintaining exceptional culinary standards.
