Overview

Al-Abrar Mosque, along with Jamae Mosque, are among the oldest mosques in Singapore. Both are similar for having been built by South Indian Tamil pioneers. The fact that Al-Abrar and Jamae Mosque stand less than a kilometre apart from one another attests to the sheer population of Chulias in early Singapore.
