Overview
As Ambon was once a Dutch colony, various related museums and historical places exist within the city. Among those places is the Amsterdam Fort! The structure of the museum was originally made by the Portuguese occupants that were then conquered by the Dutch. This museum exhibits the fort's condition and functions during the colonial era.
Prayer Facilities
There is no information on whether or not the Fort itself has a prayer room within, but there are plenty of mosques nearby. Masjid Jami Hena Lua and Masjid Hasan Sulaiman are the closest ones!
Halal Food
The closest restaurant available would be around 13 kilometers away. 88 Seafood Restaurant, Rumah Makan Seafood Apong, and Nasi Kelapa Batu Merah are among those restaurants. If you prefer a closer one, please ask the locals or the fort's employee on any information of their whereabouts!
