The best way to see Boston is to walk the Freedom Trail; a 2.5-mile redbrick trail that stretches from Boston Common to Bunker Hill and covers a variety of attractions including 16 sites pertaining to the Revolutionary War. This number one attraction is the easiest way to see many of Boston's famous sites and is therefore an absolute must. The trail weaves through Boston, thus allowing tourists the opportunity to see historically significant attractions like the Old South Meeting House, Paul Revere House, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Granary Burial Ground, and the USS Constitution in addition to numerous others. Visitors can either discover the rich history of the American Revolution by taking a free guided tour dressed up in Revolutionary garb, or by exploring the Freedom Trail at their own pace.

Prayer Facilities

The city of Boston is home to a sizeable Muslim population, which means that there will be quite a few mosques in the city. While exploring the Freedom Trail, tourists will come across numerous open natural areas where they could offer their prayers, or they could ask to be directed to the nearest mosque when needed. Some of the mosques in the city include Masjid al-Qur'an, the Islamic Center of Boston and Masjid Al Noor.

Tourists exploring the Freedom Trail will definitely come across numerous fantastic restaurants. Most of these restaurants may not be Halal certified but they are sure to serve vegetarian and seafood dishes suitable for Muslims. There are also quite a few Halal restaurants in the city that serve a variety of cuisines ranging from Turkish and Afghani to Indian and Pakistani.
