Overview

When In Palma the Museo de Mallorca is an absolute must-visit. The museum is located in a 16th century palace, near the La Seu Cathedral, in Palma's Old Town. Said to be one of the best museums on the Balearic Islands, Museo de Mallorca is home to some fascinating exhibits including an excellent collection of historic artifacts from medieval, Roman and Moorish times, weapons and ornaments as well as works representing the history and art of Mallorca. There are also sections on archaeology, fine arts, ethnography and more. The palace that the museum is housed in is also one of the reasons the attraction is so popular.

Prayer Facilities

Like most other attractions in Palma de Mallorca, the Museo de Mallorca does not offer prayer facilities for Muslim visitors. There are however a couple of mosques in Palma, namely Mezquita Abderrahman de Palma de Mallorca and Mezquita Ihsan. Muslims visiting the museum can therefore ask museum staff to guide them to the closest prayer facility.

Halal Food

The Museo de Mallorca is not known to house a café or restaurant. Muslims visiting the museum will therefore have to dine at one of the few Halal restaurants in the city of Palma. Nawaab and Aladdin Palace are both restaurants in Palma that are known to serve Halal food.
