Yuntai Garden

Overview

Yuntai Garden is one of the largest gardens in China and is a prominent attraction in Guangzhou. It is located at the foot of the Baiyun Mountain's North entrance and covers an area of over 120,000 square meters. The modern garden was opened to the public in 1995 and features an abundance of flora and fauna and stunning natural scenery. Visitors to the Yuntai Garden can witness over 200 species of brightly coloured flowers as well as artistic and enchanting design elements that give the garden a truly magical ambience. The Yuntai Garden is also host to numerous flower shows and exhibitions, drawing in numbers of visitors throughout the year. Its beauty and natural splendor have earned itself the title of being the Pearl of Guangzhou. The best time to visit the Yuntai Garden is during spring, when the climate is perfect and when the flowers in the garden are in full bloom.

Though designated prayer facilities at Yuntai Garden for Muslim travellers are unavailable, plenty of private space is available at the park that can be made use of during prayer times. Muslim travellers may also visit some of the mosques near Yuntai Garden such as the Great Mosque of Guangzhou which is the main mosque of Guangzhou.
