Jin Mao Tower

Overview

The Jin Mao Tower in China is a massive skyscraper towering tall at an imposing 420 metres in height. It features 88 storeys that house mostly offices, restaurants as well as a shopping mall. An observation deck is also located at the tower, providing guests with stunning sweeping views of the city in the distance. The structure was completed in 1999 after 5 years of construction and it noted for its architectural elements which revolve around traditional Chinese design. It covers a floor area of nearly 300,000 square metres and also features a series of 61 lifts and elevators that carry visitors around the building.
