One of the popular iPhone photos hacks TikTok users have been promoting is the vertical panoramic mode. You can use this format to capture any skyscrapers or vertical scenery without worrying about cutting it out of the frame.
Simply launch the camera app on your device, set it to "PANO" mode, and flip it horizontally. Then, hit the camera button and move the device upwards until you reach your optimal frame. You can also do this on any Android phone by going to the "Panorama" mode on your camera app and choosing "Vertical".

You may find these grid lines that divide into nine equal zones on your screen slightly annoying but they play an important role: the rule of thirds. The rule of thirds in photography is a guideline that places your subject in either the left or right third of an image, at the intersection of the grid lines for a unique photo composition. The rest of the photo is left empty.
This technique works well as it draws users into the focal point of the picture, making it pleasing to the eye.

One of the easiest Instagram photo hacks you can do is play around with photo effects that are already built into your phone.
Made viral on TikTok, users will max out the exposure and brilliance for the photo so you will get this incredibly over-exposed photo. Then you will reverse it by increasing the color tones via saturation and muting the exposure via contrast, shadows, and highlights. This will result in a well-balanced saturated photo as opposed to a neutral and muted look.

The 0.5x zoom selfie is all the rage now. Travelers will use the back camera of their phone and its ultra-wide-angle lens to snap themselves and their surroundings. It is a fun way to break out of the normal photo composition where the photo appears at a distorted angle, sometimes slightly creepy.
Honestly, it does bring back memories of when phones did not have a front camera and people took selfies with their phones facing away, not knowing how it will turn out.

You do not have to be a model or a social media influencer to have great photos. Part of getting a good photo shot is being a fun photo subject. Instead of having a standard pose for all your photos, spice it up with different angles such as glancing sideways, laughing candidly, or placing your hands on your waist. Have fun with your movements!

Sometimes you may encounter places worth shooting but you are afraid of getting your phone wet.
Phones may be water-resistant but not necessarily waterproof. Investing in a high-quality waterproof case will elevate your underwater photography game where you can take it further during your dives to snap photos of the marine life ecosystem.

Last but not least, a photo is not complete without its edits. Some of the top photo editor apps include Snapseed, VSCO, Picsart, and Adobe Lightroom. There are also Lightroom presets available online if you prefer a hassle-free edit. The apps are free to download at the moment so make the most use of them!
