The airport has 3 Terminals namely A, B and C.
Terminal A: Terminal A is divided into 3 concourses namely A1, A2 and A3
Terminal B: Terminal B is divided into 3 concourses namely B1, B2 and B3.
Terminal C: Terminal C is divided into 3 concourse namely C1, C2 and C3 with the total of 57 gates. This Terminal is used for International flights

There is an Interfaith Chapel/ Meditating Room located in Terminal C. The room is located between C70-99 and Terminal C105-115.
Halal food availibility is not known. However, there are ample cafe's, bakeries and food outlets where you can find vegetarian options. You can have a bite in Dunkin Donuts, Star Buck's Coffee, and plenty other cafes.
The airport has a train operating from the Terminal connecting the airport to New Jersey Transit.
The airport has charter buses taking you through many routes all through out Newark.
There is also a helicopter facilities available.
You can also rent a car or limousine with many car rental facilities available. You can also hire a taxi to take you to your destination.
Route #28 will take you to downtown Newark.
There are alot of shops and restaurant spread throughout the airport in all the 3 Terminals. In all Terminals you will surely find a vegetarian outlet and ample cafe's. You will also find shops of bookstores, newspapers, gift shops, souvenirs, cosmetics, perfumes, chocolates etc, There are Duty free shop in Terminal C where you can shop at and get good deals. There are good brands like Swatch, L'Occitane, Mac and etc.
