Permata Singapore

Permata, a halal buffet restaurant in Singapore, is located in the historic Kampong Glam area. The restaurant's name, Permata means "jewel" in Malay, inspired by the gemstone trade that took place in the area in the 1920s.

Led by a local celebrity Chef, Mel Dean, Permata offers a modern take on Nusantara cuisine, showcasing the diverse and indigenous flavours of the region from Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand and Beyond.

Permata's Buffet Menu includes a variety of dishes, from Kerabu salads and soups to small plates, mains, desserts and live stations.

Permata is housed at the beautiful Palladian-style royal mansion, Gedung Kuning at 73 Sultan Gated, located next to the historical Istana Kampong Glam.

Permata Singapore was nominated as Best Halal Restaurant by Halal Awards Singapore 2022, Finalist for Best Halal Restaurant (Fine Dining) by Epicurean Star Award 2022 & 2023 and Finalist for Best Buffet by Epicurean Star Award 2023.
