Each day you'll explore the amazing Hudson Bay coastline observing the majestic Polar Bear up close and
personal. Along the way, look for Arctic Fox, Arctic Hare, Camouflaged Ptarmigan and other wildlife. You'll also
have a Dog Mushing Experience (mid afternoon) and a Culture and Heritage Tour of historic Churchill,
Manitoba. After your day's adventures, you'll return home to our cozy wood-fire heated log lodge, sumptuous
local cuisine at our Lazy Bear Café, and your warm room with comfy beds and all the modern amenities.
Arctic CrawlersTM, our custom-built Tundra vehicles, will take you into the Churchill Wildlife Management Area.
You will head right to the polar bear gathering spot where the bears wait for the winter icepack to freeze on
the Hudson Bay. Curious and far from shy, the bears will sometimes come right alongside the vehicles to
sneak a peek at their visitors.


During your stay at the Lodge, the Cultural and Heritage Tour takes you to Churchill and the surrounding area.
You will explore the various historic sites including Cape Merry, the Polar Bear Jail (outside), the famous plane
crash site of "Miss Piggy", and many other historic spots that make Churchill the town it is today.
Your Dog Mushing Experience (mid afternoon) includes an approximate 1-2-mile dog mushing ride. The ride
will be on sleds if there is snow, and on wheels if there is none. Since the dogs love to run, either ride will be
exhilarating! Inside a warm tent with fresh bannock, local berry jam, coffee, hot chocolate and tea, you will
learn how the dogs are trained, plus hear many entertaining stories.

Day 1 : Arrival in Toronto

Welcome to Toronto! Upon your arrival, our Tour Director will greet you after you have collected your bags. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Downtown Toronto. Once you have checked in, take some time to relax and unwind after your journey, enjoying the amenities of your hotel or exploring the nearby attractions at your leisure.

Day 2 : Explore downtown Toronto

After breakfast at your hotel, set out to explore Downtown Toronto. You have the option to join a guided tour led by one of our experienced guides or take a hop-on-hop-off bus to explore the city at your own pace.

During the day, you'll visit two of Toronto's top attractions: the iconic CN Tower, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city, and Ripley's Aquarium of Canada, home to a stunning variety of marine life. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Toronto, discovering its famous landmarks and hidden gems

Day 3 : Transfer to Winnipeg

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to Toronto Pearson International Airport to board your flight to Winnipeg. Upon arrival in Winnipeg, our Tour Director will greet you and assist with your transfer to your hotel. Once you have checked in, take some time to relax and settle into your new surroundings. Enjoy the evening at your leisure, exploring the local area or unwinding at the hotel.

Day 4 : Journey to Churchill

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Winnipeg and prepare for your journey to Churchill. You'll be transferred to Winnipeg Airport (or train station) where you'll board your flight to Churchill. Upon arrival, a shuttle service will be provided to take you to Lazy Bear Lodge. Check in and settle into this cozy lodge, where you'll enjoy comfortable accommodations and the welcoming atmosphere of this unique location. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the lodge's surroundings at your leisure.

Day 5 : Fall Tundra Tour

Get ready for an exciting day exploring the Arctic tundra! After a hearty breakfast at Lazy Bear Lodge, embark on a Fall Tundra Tour aboard the Arctic Crawler™. This custom-built tundra vehicle will take you into the Churchill Wildlife Management Area, where you'll have the opportunity to see polar bears and other Arctic wildlife up close. Enjoy a provided lunch, along with snacks and beverages, as you marvel at the stunning landscape and observe the majestic polar bears in their natural habitat. This unforgettable excursion offers a unique and intimate glimpse into the incredible Arctic ecosystem

Day 6 : Cultural and Heritage Tour & Dog Mushing Experience

Start your day with a Morning Cultural and Heritage Tour, exploring the rich history and unique heritage of Churchill. In the mid-afternoon, enjoy an exhilarating Dog Mushing Experience. Ride on sleds or wheels, depending on the weather, and learn about the training of these incredible sled dogs. Relax with fresh bannock, local berry jam, and hot beverages as you listen to entertaining stories from the mushers.

Day 7 : Fall Tundra Tour and Return to Winnipeg

Begin your day with a thrilling Fall Tundra Tour aboard the Arctic Crawler™. Enjoy lunch, snacks, and beverages as you explore the tundra and observe Arctic wildlife, including polar bears, in their natural habitat.

After the tour, check out from Lazy Bear Lodge and transfer to the airport or train station for your journey back to Winnipeg. Upon arrival in Winnipeg, you'll be met by a shuttle service and transferred to your hotel. Check in and relax for the evening.

Day 8 : Back to Toronto

Check out from your hotel in Winnipeg after breakfast and transfer to Winnipeg Airport for your flight to Toronto. Upon arrival in Toronto, our team will transfer you to your Downtown hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to explore Downtown Toronto at your leisure, discovering its attractions, dining options, and vibrant city atmosphere on your own

Day 9 : End of Journey

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, and subject to your flight timings, you will be transferred to Toronto Pearson International Airport to board your flight back home. Bid farewell to Toronto and cherish the memories of your journey through Canada's diverse landscapes and vibrant cities.
