The Republic of Chad is located in Central Africa and is surrounded by Libya, Sudan, Central African Republic, Nigeria and Cameroon. The markets in Chad offer a variety of art and craft items. Whether it is embroidery, pottery, brass items or decorated calabashes and knives, you can find a wide variety of things to buy. The Central Market in N’Djamena is the best place to shop. Abeche also has some colourful markets where you can shop.
Traveling around Chad is convenient with the help of Land Cruisers, pick-ups and minibuses. Buses too are available in the country but are very few in number. Some of the cities are connected by flights.
