This museum is a must-visit for every history buff and ancient civilization fan out there. The museum is located between Taxila city and Wah. It is filled with antiques and remnants from the ruins of the civilization of ancient Taxila. It is a favorite spot for locals and tourists alike and gives you an in-depth view of Wah and its culture. Furthermore, the museum also has several art pieces from the Mughal days.

Mughals were big fans of royal gardens and great palaces. Wah enjoys being home to a beautiful set of gardens whose built gathers inspiration from the Mughal dynasty. Along with the Department of Archeology of Pakistan, the locals are taking steps to bring the zeal and zest of the garden from its Mughal days back. However, it is still a brilliant spot to unwind as you breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the wonderful greenery.

It has already been established that Wah and the area surrounding it are home to rich culture and history and the beautiful people of this district. The Jaulian Monastery and Stupa were the famous ruins of a Buddhist Monastery in the 2nd century. The excavations in this Monastery have unearthed several priceless cultural and historical facts.

The Jandial Temple is famous all over the world because of its intelligent construction. It was excavated from the Taxila ruins in the early 1900s and was declared a historical site. The temple has a set of columns and has been constructed on the architecture of ancient Greeks. Most astrologists believe that this temple is one of the most Hellenic structures that have yet been excavated in Pakistan.
Other than the kaleidoscope of history and culture, Wah is home to a very distinct palate of flavors that you will not find anywhere else in Pakistan. The locals of Wah are fans of meats and rice which have been flavored with aromatic spices and are served with a variety of sauces. Roam around the city and its various marketplaces. Enjoying both the display of high-quality fabrics and local dresses as well as the feast of flavors on display.
Wah and the area surrounding the city is a brilliant place to reconnect with the past of Humankind and explore fantastic historical destinations that cannot be found in the western world. Moreover, the friendly people and the beautiful marketplaces seem like a breath of fresh air.
