If you're following the variety show scene, you probably know that Yoo Jae Suk is their current ambassador! The Singaporean outlets of the chain were started in 2012. Nene Chicken gives its customers an experience of Korean Halal fast food, right in Singapore. There are seven outlets in total and they also do delivery.

The food chain doesn’t have many purely Korean food items in its menu, but what it does have is quite delicious.

However with the increasing number of customers craving Korean Barbeque it changed to one of the hottest places for Korean BBQ buffets in Singapore.  There are many Seoul Garden restaurants that you can visit in Singapore - all of them Halal certified. However, the crown of the list goes to the Seoul Garden in Clementi Mall as it is also one of Singapore’s top 6 Korean restaurants to eat at.

After a meal comes... dessert! A Muslim-owned café, Icebox does huge ‘Monster Milkshakes’ and Korean desserts for a taste of Halal Korean food in Singapore. The desserts are mostly ‘bingsu’ (bingsoo), a typical Korean dessert that involves ice shavings with sweet condensed milk, fruit flavorings, syrups and various add-ons.

  • Delicious and creative: The desserts and milkshakes are delicious and extremely creative, especially the ‘In Your Face’ milkshakes which look pretty ‘out there’ with all types of delicious stuff stuck on the outside of the mug in addition to the inside.
