On my last visit to Istanbul, we managed to take a walk down the Istiklal road. It is around the famous Taksim Square of Istanbul. At night it is full of life.
Taking a walk down the road you come across many restaurants. As usual in Turkey, you are bound to come across many small stalls sellingTurkish ice cream with along with their performance.
Then we came across the Munhasir Doner & Kebab restaurant. It is on the expensive side, but the food was really great.
We started off with some appetisers .....
and salad.
along with really long bread!
Then came our main dish. The mixed grill. It was definitely some of the best grilled meat that we all have had.
We were 6 in total and it cost around USD 150! But it was really worth it. Next time you are in Istanbul, take a walk down Istiklal road and explore some of the Turkish food.
