With a TV series named after it, Holland V is one of the most popular places you can go to in Singapore. Known for its fancy shops and restaurants, a trip to Holland Village is always fun and costly, so you better be ready to spoil yourself and support that financially when you go there.
If you're a Singaporean, there's a good chance you've already been there a couple of times. If you're not from Singapore, then Holland V is definitely a must-visit next time you're in Singapore.
So, let's find out some of the best activities you can do in Holland Village.

Situated in the Central Region of Singapore north of Queenstown, Holland Village is named after Hugh Holland: an architect who lived in the area in the early 1900s.
Only a 20-minute walk away from the Singapore Botanical Gardens, shopping and eating in Holland V before heading to the gardens to relax is a great excursion.

While it's not the most Muslim-friendly quarter of Singapore – because many expats frequent there – Holland Village is still a beautiful display of all that's great about Capitalism, namely top-notch food and services.
Since it's not unusual for Holland Village restaurants to serve alcohol, you might want to head to those who don't.
Also, if you find revealing clothes a little bit offensive, you probably should head somewhere else in Singapore where there's more chastity.
Other than that, Holland Village food is terrific, and the fact it's not the most Mulsim-friendly spot in Singapore shouldn't stop you from heading there.
So, here are the best things to do in Holland V:
Part of what makes Holland Village such a fun place to visit is its artistic quality and the people around who share the same passion for art as you do (if you do).
TAKSU gallery is the perfect spot to visit if you want to immerse yourself in the fine works of some of the most talented Southeast Asian art masters.
The entry to the TAKSU gallery is free, which incentivizes you, even more, to take a look inside and bring more culture to your life. If you're taking a walk with a friend in Holland V after eating something, you should head to TAKSU afterward.
Shopping in Holland V's boutiques and fancy shops is one of the main reasons people go there. From clothes to home decoration, you'll definitely find something to bring back with you from your trip to Holland V if you look good enough.
Take all the time you need strolling from one shop to another until you find that perfect item that costs only the price it should cost.
Well, if you're in it for the royal treatment, nothing beats a massage session at a respectable spot like Natureland. A massage session before eating some yummy meal and taking a stroll is the ultimate Holland Village experience.
Natureland offers reasonably-priced massage sessions for all of you who appreciate relaxed muscles.
Again with the arts! The OK sculpture park is your spot if you enjoy looking at art in the open while sitting on a bench enjoying a sandwich (or whatever you enjoy eating).
Even if you're not that interested in art's symbolic or aesthetic qualities, you'll (100%) find the sculptures at OK quite amusing, even funny. There's nothing wrong with laughing at art that's supposed to be taken seriously. Good art is supposed to invoke positive emotions, and laughter is as positive as it can get.
Well, Holland Village is definitely the place where you go to stimulate your mouth and make your belly happy. There's a huge variety of restaurants in Holland V from all over the world.

If you're like me, I like to randomly pick places to eat when I'm visiting somewhere I've never been before. I'll pick a random restaurant every time I visit Holland V before choosing another place where I can get something sweet. How to do that? It's easy; take a walk and stop for no reason, and the first place on your right that serves food is where you go.

I hope your next trip to Holland Village will be full of fun. If you're old enough to have watched the Holland V series when it was airing, it might be a great opportunity to revisit some of your memories of the show.
