To all burger fans out there, we have fantastic news for you! FATBURGER (Fresh, Authentic & Tasty Burger) now has 2 outlets available across the country!
This 100% Muslim-owned restaurant is now available at Kinex to satisfy more of your cravings for scrumptious thick burgers and tasty hot chicken wings.
You can also come down for a yummy bite of chicken sandwich from their co-brand Buffalo’s express. By the end of your satisfying experience, you will find yourself planning for the next date to come back and try their irresistible food again!
The Muslim-friendly aspect of this huge establishment derived from its inspirational owner, Mr Mohamed Ibrahim (Moe).
He is a successful Muslim businessman, hotelier, restaurateur, and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Deelish Brands. The company brings established restaurant brands from all over the world, such as Fatburger, to Southeast Asia.
You can expect a hot fresh meal at this restaurant as each burger that you purchase is cooked to order. You will surely start drooling when you witness their tower of beef patties and other fresh ingredients before your very eyes, just waiting to be consumed.
Both of Fatburger outlets in Singapore(the other located at Velocity @ Novena) use only Halal certified ingredients in preparation for a Halal certification.
With that great news in mind, I am sure you are excited to know what makes their menu so impressive so let’s jump right into it!
If you're a huge fan of large portioned food and love challenges, then they might just have the perfect thing for you! Their Quad Burger Challenge dares you to finish their humongous burger consisting of 4 thick and juicy beef patties.
I gave it a try and have completed it with pride but definitely not with ease. You'll be surprised by how juicy the burger is! We would recommend you not to order any sides if you're planning to go for it as you'll be very full by the end of your attempt.
Upon completion, you will get a Fat Burger certificate and your picture will be featured on their wall of fame so the world knows who are the warriors that managed to keep going until the very last bite. Are you up for it?
Price: $15.90
Their burgers are always chilled and never frozen. With a ratio of 80% lean meat and 20% fat, it's a healthier choice for you. There are plenty of ways you can customize the burgers to your liking.
You can request for some ingredients to be excluded or added to the burger, choose the various sauces that you would love to try and there are also different sizes of burgers that you can pick from.
If you are a vegeterian, you can opt for their veggie burger. If you're on a Keto diet, you can have a go at their Skinny burgers, where the buns are replaced with succulent beef patties at $7.50.
We added cheese to their Single Original Burger ($7.90) and it was delightful. The cheese had a lovely taste to it, the beef was tender and the vegetables were fresh. Would definitely recommend you to add cheese to your burger during your visit!
Your burger feasting experience just wouldn't be complete without sides!
We had a go at their Homemade Onion Rings and Potato Fries. Their authentic onion rings are hand-battered in the kitchen before they are fried and served as a delicious, crispy side meal.
However, it might not please your taste buds if you prefer minimal amount of batter on your onion rings.
You can also try their Chilli Cheese fries which is generously topped with melted cheddar cheese and their very own American-style Chilli or order their sweet potato fries if you're looking for something with lesser sodium intake.
Price: Homemade Onion Rings - $5.90
Chili Cheese Fries - $5.90
Sweet Potato Fries - $5.90
Craving for some hot chicken? Buffalo's Express offers a wide range of bone-in or boneless chicken, chicken tenders as well as salads. Top quality control ensures that all chickens are at their finest when delivered to the store.
Their 7 signature sauces include the 'cajun' sauce and the extra hot 'death valley' sauce. We tried both of them and the experience we had for the two were completely different.
The paprika taste for the cajun chicken was the most distinctive one as compared to other ingredients that were used. However, once you are done with the skin, the remaining meat would lose a lot of its cajun flavor.
The Death Valley sauce on the other hand was a very unique item on the menu. It tasted a lot like tobasco sauce and it might be too hot for some. However, its overall taste was satifying so we would really recommend you to try it.
Every meal has to be accompanied with a soothing drink. At Fatburger, you can purchase their Hand-Scooped Real Ice-cream Milkshakes, refillable soft drinks, Bottled water, Milo or Sjora Mango Peach Juice.
I personally loved their Cookies and Cream Milkshake as it tasted just like my favourite ice-cream. It lasted for quite a long time before it fully melted into liquid. I really enjoyed every sip of the drink and I foresee myself coming back for more.
Now that you heard our honest review, it's time for you to have a go for yourself! They currently have two outlets available in Singapore so feel free to pick the one that is most convenient for you!
