بِسْمِ اللهِ
Bismillah
In the name of Allah
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
Wal-hamdu lilaah
And all praise is for Allah
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِى سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ
Subhaan-alladhee sakhkhara lanaa haadhaa wa maa kunnaa lahu muqrineen wa innaa ilaa rabbinaa la munqaliboon
How perfect He is, the One Who has placed this (Transport) at our service And to our Lord is our final destiny
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
Al-hamdu lillah
All praise is for Allah
ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ
Allahu akbar
Allah is the greatest
سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِى وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Subhanaak-allahumma innee zalamtu nafsee faghfir li fa innahu laa yaghfir-udh-dhunooba illaa ant
How perfect You are, O Allah, I have wronged my soul. So forgive me. For surely none can forgive sins except You.
This is a must-recite dua before you travel anywhere. Recite this dua for traveling by car, plane, bus, train, or any other mode of travel when you start your journey. The dua is recited in order to seek safety through blessings from Allah while traveling in all modes of transport.
By reciting this dua, you are praying to Allah that through this journey you'll get the blessings and wisdom from the trip. While also thanking Allah for the His permission and knowledge so that we as humans are able to ride the transportation. If there's something that happens to us during the journey, we had also asked for his forgiveness for our sins through this dua. InshAllah.
