أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illallaah wahdahu laa shariika lahu, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa Rasuuluhu
I testify that there is no god but Allah, the One, there is no associate with Him and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger.
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ
Allahummaj'alnii minat-tawwabina waj'alni minal-mutatohhirin
O Allah! Make me among those who repent, and among those who purify themselves.
سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ
Subhanaka allahumma wa bi hamdik, ashhadu an la ilaaha illa Anta, astaghfiruka wa atubu ilaik
Glory is to You, O Allah, and praise be upon You. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.
Before performing our prayers be it obligatory or sunnah prayers, we are still required to perform the ablution or a wudhu as a form of self-purification. As the niyyat of wudhu is obligatory, there's some dua that follows that could complete the ritual which is this dua. Although is not an obligation, is still a recommended step to recite to perfect your wudhu.
The wudhu itself is a form of worship and perfecting the ablution before prayers is one of the best deeds to also perfect your prayers as you are able to remember that your prayer is done in the best form that you could. Removing anxieties and worries over your prayers such as whether you did it, is it the correct number of rakaah, etc.
The dua itself comes with several meanings that we as humans are recommended to acknowledge and recite throughout our day, as a form of remembering Allah and his Greatness. It is a dua which consists of us testifying Allah’s Oneness and that the Prophet SAW is His Messenger, with hopes of being among the repentant and those who purify themselves, and for asking forgiveness and repentance.
