2015 IAAF Diamond League - the sixth edition of the annual IAAF Diamond League - started on the 15th of May in Doha in Qatar, bringing together some of the best athletes from around the world to compete in a series of various event disciplines. Fourteen meetings have been confirmed for the 2015 season, with London's Sainsbury's Anniversary Games scheduled to be held from the 24th to the 26th of July at the Olympic Stadium in London.   Click here for a Muslim-friendly guide to London City   The Sainsbury's Anniversary Games will feature a range of athletic events over the course of three days at the Olympic Stadium in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London. The main venue of the games is the London Olympic Stadium which was first constructed in 2011 to host the 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympics. The stadium is located on an ‘island’ site - surrounded by waterways on three sides - and can be accessed using the five bridges that link the site to the surrounding area.   A range of facilities are available at the venue – including adequate facilities for Muslim. In addition to changing rooms, medical centres and meeting rooms, the stadium offers four prayer rooms within its premises that can be used during prayer times. Travellers may also choose to visit a few of the mosques that are located in the close vicinity of the stadium – such as the Masjid e Ilyas down Canning Rd (Canning Rd, London E15 3ND, United Kingdom), Quwwat Ul Islam Masjid (62-66 Upton Lane, Forest Gate, London, E7 9LN) and Lansbury Masjid (20 Alton St, London E14 6BZ, United Kingdom).   For Halal food options, it is possible to visit some of the many Halal restaurants in the area such as the - Shawarma Gril on 72 High Rd Leyton (located 2 miles and 10 minutes away) for a fantastic array of Lebanese cuisine, or The Grill Stratford on 38 Romford Rd (2 miles and 10 minutes away) for a wide range of exciting Mediterranean cuisine.
