Today, as the 4th day, we went to Cebu in the morning by ferry. Yayyy!! It took 1.5 hours from Bohol to Cebu, but I fell asleep all the way here. Hahaha as always.
In Cebu, the first stop was....lunch! We had lunch at a Halal restaurant named Tandoori. And after that we went to the mosque in Cebu, located beside a big street. I think it was much easier to find this mosque than the mosque in Manila.
As we know, Cebu is so famous for their dried mangoes, so we went to the Profood factory which produces these famous dried mangoes, coconuts, bananas and pineapples. We saw the process from the beginning, from the slicing, drying and packaging of mangoes. It was so amazing because the factory was owned by true Filippinos. It offered job opportunities for people around Cebu – which was good for the economy within Cebu. Also they did export their products to 40 countries around the world. Amazing.
After that we directly went to our hotel named Crimson hotel. One word: amazing. We didn't even imagine that the hotel would be this beautiful – they provided everything from praying mats, qurans, qibla, and Halal food. This was the first hotel to receive Halal certification in Cebu. We were too in love with every single thing in the hotel – from the villa, the food, the panoramic view, even the people I met in here, from the GM to the employees.
In the evening we had dinner by the beach and everything was just, perfect. We ate chicken, salmon, lamb, Japanese noodles, etc. The chef was really kind as well, they explained everything about the food. I am beyond happy :)
