Itinerary
Day 1:
After Fajr: Early Morning to Mid- Day Destinations
- Grand Palace: A complex of buildings, the palace has also been the residence of the Kings of Siam. Takes about 2 hours.
- Jim Thompson House: Beautiful Thai-style house, which houses a museum of Thai artefacts collected from all over Thailand. Takes about 1 hour.
Mosques (masjid): Chakrabongse Mosque, Bangkok Mosque, Tanson Mosque.
Halal Restaurants: Yusuf Foods near Jim Thompson House, Sara Restaurant at New World Lodge Hotel.
Afternoon: Afternoon to Evening Destinations.
- Siam Paragon: One of the best shopping destinations of Bangkok. Also visit the Siam Ocean World here. Takes about 2 hours.
- Lumphini Park: Try to visit it around 4:30Pm when it is a bit less crowded and stay till sunset. Relax here for about 1-2 hours.

Halal Restaurants: Wrap-It at Siam Paragon serves halal food, Akbar Restaurant near Lumpini Park.
Evening: Evening Destinations and Dining Options.
- Khao San Road and Soi Rambuttri: Both the streets are excellent for shopping and just strolling around observing the local life.

Halal Restaurants: Yusuf Foods near Jim Thompson House, Sara Restaurant at New World Hotel.
Day 2:
After Fajr: Early Morning to Mid- Day Destinations.
- Damnoen Saduak Floating Market: Gives an excellent cultural experience where you can observe the local life closely and also enjoy a great shopping experience. Spend about 1-2 hours in this market.
- Dusit Zoo: A wonderful zoo with a museum, education centre and a sightseeing train.
Mosques (masjid): Noor-ul-Islam Mosque near Dusit Zoo
Halal Restaurants: Sara Restaurant at New World Hotel.
Afternoon: Afternoon to Evening Destinations.
- Royal Barges Museum: Located in the northern end of the city and houses historical royal barges. Takes about an hour.
- Chinatown and Little India: You can find a number of local souvenirs and lots of other affordable shopping opportunities. Spend 2-3 hours here.
Mosques (masjid): Luang Mosque in Chinatown.
Halal Restaurants: Sara Restaurant at New World Hotel near Royal Barges Museum.
Evening: Evening Destinations and Dining Options.
- Riverboat Tour: Take a tour of the Chao Phraya River and see all the major attractions along the river. Takes about 1-2 hours.
- Chatuchak Weekend Market: A huge market selling the best things.
Mosques (masjid): Darun Ihusan Mosque near the Chatuchak Market.
Halal Restaurants: There are several halal food stalls in the Chatuchak Market, one is near Gate 3 and one is near the Clock Tower.
Miscellaneous:
- If you have an extra day, visit the Ancient City about an hour from Bangkok. Visiting the city gives you an experience of covering the Thai cultural experience in a single day.
- Restaurants: There are several halal restaurants in Bangkok offers Thai, Chinese, Indian and American cuisines.
- Souvenirs: Electronics, clothing, Celadon ceramics, silks, hand carved items, etc.
- Transportation: The best way to travel around is by public transport. You can take metro or the skytrain. Taxis and tuk-tuks are also convenient to travel around.
