For a Muslim visitor, the great thing about shopping in Singapore is that almost all malls or shopping districts have Halal food outlets. Look out for the MUIS Halal Logo to make sure that you dine in a Halal establishment. Most Malls also have a Food court where some stalls will be serving Halal Food. Some of the shopping districts have a Masjid as well in the vicinity. If you are planning to spend time shopping and exploring the shopping district, here are three places you could enjoy having some great Halal food and find a Masjid nearby to perform Salaath as well.
This is the prime shopping area of Singapore. It is lined with many well known shopping Malls and some new iconic ones such as the ION. If you are looking for the latest in fashion, this is the place to go. Almost all well known brands have outlets in the many malls here. Opposite the popular Paragon Shopping Mall is Masjid Al-Falah. At most, it will be only a 10 minute walk from any of the main malls of Orchard Road. It is a well maintained Mosque, having facilities for males and females.

Kampong Glam Area in Singapore - This where the well known Arab street is located: Whether you want to shop or not, for a Muslim visitor to Singapore it is a must visit area. One of the oldest and well known Mosques, Masjid Sultan is located here. The area is a great place to stroll around and shop for Muslim clothing and accessories. There are also a few Muslim Book shops with wide collections. It is a great place to find all types of mouthwatering Halal food!
There are not many who come to shop in Singapore and do not visit the one and only 24 hour Mall, Mustafa Centre. There aren't many things that you will not find here. Apart from Mustafa Centre, there are many other shops and Malls in Little India. Masjid Angulia is a 2 minute walk from the Mustafa Centre. It is also one of the oldest Masjids (Mosques-Masaajid) in Singapore. It has not undergone a major renovation as most of the other mosques in Singapore have. As such, the facilities are not state-of-the-art, but still comfortable.
