SHISHEI-JUKU- Our Kyo-Machiya (hotel) allows you to experience a traditional Kyoto life. We provide you three different type of rooms; Isami has two floors at the sub-building and IF has living room, bathroom, and washroom. Hijikata is located on the 2nd floor at the main building, and has two Japanese Tatami-rooms. Kashi is located on 1st floor at the main building,and has a room with a double bed. The name, SHISHEI-JUKU, comes from Shinsen-gumi, a special police force organized by Japanese military government 150 years ago. And each room is named from a member of Shinsen-gumi.
