What is the HalalTrip City Pass

About the HalalTrip City Pass

The HalalTrip City Pass - a newly-launched feature available on the official HalalTrip Mobile App - is the world’s first travel pass dedicated to Muslim travelers that combines popular attractions, top sightseeing spots and Halal restaurants to provide a unique sight-seeing experience.

The HalalTrip City Pass can be purchased online globally – using the HalalTrip App as well as on HalalTrip.com. Travelers can pre-purchase the pass before arriving at their destination and once purchased, it will be downloaded to the app so that it is accessible offline.

Once you have downloaded the HalalTrip mobile App on your phone, you simply need to follow the below steps to purchase and use the pass:

  • 1. Purchase your selected HalalTrip City Pass on the HalalTrip App or HalalTrip.com
  • 2. Once purchased, the HalalTrip City Pass will be synced to your HalalTrip account.
  • 3. The HalalTrip City Pass will be automatically loaded to your App with unique QR codes.
  • 4. To gain access to your chosen attractions, simply scan the QR code on your pass.

Your HalalTrip City Pass will be valid for 24-72 hours from the time of first use.

  • How can I purchase the HalalTrip City Pass?
    • You can purchase the City Pass on the HalalTrip mobile app or HalalTrip.com.
  • Who can purchase the HalalTrip City Pass?
    • Anyone traveling to Singapore can purchase the City Pass.
  • Do I need to print out the vouchers?
    • No. The QR code will be reflected in your account on the HalalTrip app. Alternatively, you may wish to print it out if you feel more secure.
  • Can I purchase the HalalTrip City Pass when I am in Singapore?
    • Yes. You can purchase the City Pass in advanced or after your arrival in Singapore. There is no time limit as to how early or late you purchase the City Pass.
  • Do I need to make multiple bookings for my entire family?
    • No. Just input the no. of adults and children at the purchase page. The single code generated to your account will recognize the no. of adults and children automatically.
  • Do I need internet connectivity to access the QR code on the app?
    • No. After purchase, the QR code will be reflected in your account on the HalalTrip app. You will be able to retrieve it without internet connectivity.
  • How do I redeem the tickets?
    • Redemption locations of each attraction are available on the attraction detail page on the mobile app and HalalTrip.com. Simply click on the attraction you wish to visit and it will appear below.
  • What if I change my mind on the attraction I want to visit?
    • The City Pass is flexible so you can mix and match the attractions you want to visit depending on your schedule.
  • What is the validity of the Halaltrip City Passes?
    • Your HalalTrip City Pass will be valid for 24-72 hours from the time of first use.
  • Do I have to purchase the HalalTrip City Pass with a MasterCard card to redeem the night tour?
    • Yes. Purchase of the City Pass has to be made with your MasterCard card in order to redeem the FunVee night tour.
  • Can I purchase the HalalTrip City Pass as a gift?
    • We have not yet enabled this process in our system. We plan to implement it in the next coming months. We will announce it on our social media once we have done so.
  • Is it only available for Singapore?
    • As of now, the HalalTrip City Pass is only available in Singapore. Fret not, we plan to develop similar passes for other cities soon!
