The town is known for its many events which occur throughout the year, depending on the season. Hoofddorp is a quiet town and may not be ideal for those looking for an adrenaline rush. It is however perfect for those looking to relax and unwind, as well as for visitors who like to shop. Even though there is not much to do or see in Hoofddorp, the town is conveniently located close to some major towns and cities, therefore making it a good base for exploring. Muslim visitors will be please to know that they will be able to locate some Muslim-friendly facilities in Hoofddorp.
