Subang Jaya is a flourishing city located in west of Kuala Lumpur, in the Klang Valley. The city is well-developed and popular among the upper and middle classes in the area. The town was originally a rubber estate which has been developed extensively to its present day modernity.
 
Subang Jaya is a well-known educational and industrial hub in Malaysia and attracts people from all over. It is also known as the Klang Valley's primary educational centre due to the number of institutions, universities, and schools there. Over time, there has been a large influx of international students.
 
There are numerous Muslim-friendly facilities in Subang Jaya. There is also a lot that visitors can see and do during their stay in Subang Jaya.
 
The Sunway Lagoon Resort and Sunway Pyramid are the main attractions in the city. The Sunway Lagoon Resort is well-known theme park that attracts people of all age groups, while Sunway Pyramid is an excellent mall that is home to a variety of stores and entertainment options.
 
The Subang Ria Park is a beautiful recreational destination in the city. The park features a huge lake spanning over 29.96 acres. There are several sports complexes and fitness centers across Subang Ria that are equipped with the best facilities.
 
Subang Jaya also is a wonderful place for shopping. Some good places for shopping in Subang Jaya are Sunway Pyramid, Empire Subang, Subang Parade, Subang Avenue, The 19 USJ City Mall, Summit Mall, The Main Place, etc.
 
It is also home to the largest Proton showroom in Malaysia; the Proton Centre of Excellence, the showroom is easily visible from the KESAS expressway.
 
Most Malaysians' favorite past time is eating. As a result, Subang Jaya is covered in numerous culinary establishments. There is a huge selection of meals available. There are many fast food franchises in the city, with the majority of them located in shopping malls.

Nearby Airports

Subang Jaya is served by the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport also known as the Subang Airport. The airport is located about 14km from the city center. The easiest way to reach the ity from the airport is by hiring a taxi.
 
The airport now mostly serves domestic flights and serves as Southeast Asia's top corporate and private aircraft center.
