The Malacca International Airport is the main airport serving the city.
The airport is located about 10 Km from the city center. There is regular bus service from the main road of the airport to different parts of the city.
The nearest major airport to Melaka is the Kuala Lumpur International Airport which is about 2 hours away from the city.
From the Kuala Lumpur International Airport visitors can take direct buses that run regularly. These buses cost around RM 25-35.
Taxis are also available from the airport to Melaka and ideally cost around RM 150-200 for a one-way trip.
