Bcharré, in northern Lebanon, is a small town overlooking the Qadisha valley. The town is located on a mountainside and offers amazing views of the valley. Bcharré is about 2 hours’ drive from Beirut ah is famous for the well-preserved Cedars. Bcharré is also famed for being the hometown of the Lebanese poet Khalil Gibran. There are a number of Muslim-friendly facilities in Bcharré making it a good destination for enjoying halal holidays. The town is quite picturesque with snow covered mountains on one side and the plunging Qadisha valley on the other.
The town becomes quite popular during the winters when it turns into a ski resort. Apart from the winter fun, the town also offers excellent activities during the summers. There are several trails in the Qadisha valley that can be explored. Bcharré is also known for its cedar trees.
