The closest airport to Caloundra is Sunshine Coast Airport, which has domestic flights and is approximately 29 kilometers from the center of Caloundra. For international flights, visitors will have to travel to Brisbane Airport, which is about 92 kilometres away.
There are a few Halal restaurants in Caloundra. Kebab Heaven and Nando's are two restaurants which are said to serve Halal food in Caloundra. It is best for Muslims to double-check that the food served here is Halal before dining. Muslim visitors could also dine on seafood or vegetarian dishes in non-halal restaurants.
