Kendwa is a little village located towards the far north of Zanzibar Island. Offering stretches of beautiful white sand beaches, plenty of sunshine and clear warm waters, the village is a fantastic beach destination and is the ideal getaway for beach lovers. Due to its popularity as a tourist spot, travellers will also be able to find a range of accommodation options to choose from. Facilities for Muslim travellers in Kendwa such as Halal food and prayer facilities may be limited, but due to the large Muslim community on the island, facilities will rarely be too far away.
The little village of Kendwa is found in the western coast towards the north of Zanzibar Island and is a popular destination and tourist attraction. It overlooks the nearby islands of Daloni and Tumbatu and is about a 3 kilometre beach walk away from the village of Nungwi. Beach walks can be a great way to spend time but is possible only when the tide is low.
