Located in Győr-Moson-Sopron County in northwestern Hungary, close to the Austrian and Slovakian borders, is the beautiful town of Mosonmagyaróvár. Mosonmagyaróvár was formed when the two towns of Moson and Magyaróvár became united in 1939. The town lies beside the highway which runs between Vienna and Budapest. Mosonmagyaróvár started to develop even more when a well supplying medicinal water was discovered in 1996. The town is now home to restaurants, hotels and therapeutic facilities, for those who come from all around the country and the world seeking the medicinal properties of the water. Mosonmagyaróvár is a great place for those looking for some rest and relaxation, as well as for those looking to partake in outdoor activities. It is however, not easy for Muslim visitors to find Muslim-friendly facilities like prayer areas and Halal restaurants in Mosonmagyaróvár.
Mosonmagyaróvár has quite a limited number of tourist attractions to visit. A great way to start off the sightseeing is to pay a visit to the Cselley-mansion.
