Parikia is an ancient town located on the Paros Island. It is the main town on the island and is a beautiful destination to spend some time in. Parikia also serves as the main port of Paros and feature several historic churches. The architecture in the town is mainly Neoclassical. The Venetian Castle of Parikia is the main landmark in the town. The Old Town of Parikia is especially worth visiting. The winding alleyways lined with houses and small shops are excellent to walk around.
Parikia features a number of beaches that are great to visit. The beaches allow visitors to enjoy a number of water sports.
