Plitvica Selo itself is positioned in the heart of the country, towards the Eastern area of Lika-Senj county. It is also reputed for being located in close proximity to the Plitvice Lakes National Park - one of Croatia's most popular and most frequented tourist attractions. Travellers visiting the Plitvice Lakes National Park could stop-by at Plitvica Selo for a short visit.
