It is known for its friendly residents, with Podstrana being home to a population of nearly 10,000 residents - most of whom comprise Croats.
Its Mediterranean Climate features very hot summers and plenty of sunshine all year through. Mild winters are observed in the month of January. The best period to visit Podstrana would be during the seasons of Spring and Autumn, when the temperatures are ideal for sight-seeing and numerous outdoor activities are available.
