Sunny Beach

Description

Sunny Beach is among the liveliest destinations in Bulgaria. Located along the Black Sea Coast, Sunny Beach is visited by thousands of visitors every year. The beach is lined all around with a broad boulevard. Sunny Beach stretches for over 8km and features soft and fine sands. The area attracts part-lovers as well as families. There is just one street in the area that runs from the main road to the beach and till the pier.

Visitors to Sunny Beach have a great time. The beach is segregated into two zones, the ‘pay zone’ which has umbrellas and can be rented and the ‘free zone’ which is behind the pay zone where visitors can put up their own umbrellas. The Action Aqua Park is an exciting water park with a small zoo. The Aqua Paradise is another water park located near Nesebar. The Old Nesebar is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has several archeological sites that visitors would love to explore.

Sunny Beach also has some good shops lined along the Beach Boulevard. The Royal Beach Mall is also an excellent place for shopping.

Nearby Airports

The nearest airport to Sunny Beach is the Burgas airport located about 25km from the area. Public buses are available from the airport to Sunny Beach and usually cost around 5 BGN for a one-way ticket. Taxis can also be found easily from outside the arrivals hall and cost around 60 BGN for a one-way trip.

Halal Restaurants

There are no halal restaurants in Sunny Beach. However visitors can find a few vegetarian restaurants in the area. The La Bamba Restaurant and Beach bar offers some options of vegetarian dishes.
