The Parliament Hill is located in the center of downtown and overlooks the Ottawa River. The building is an excellent example of Gothic revival style architecture.
The Laurier House National Historic Site is a beautiful 17th century home with a copper roof and has been home to two prime ministers. The house has several mementoes and exhibits that are worth seeing. There are several museums in the city like Canadian Museum of Nature, Science and Technology Museum,Canadian Museum of Civilization,Bytown Museum, etc. The National Gallery is also an excellent place to visit.
