Tralee is a historic town located in the Kerry County. The town holds a lot of significance but not many historic buildings can be seen in the area, as most of the remains from the Desmond era were destroyed during Cromwellian period.The beautiful Denny St and the Day Pl are the oldest areas in the town. These areas feature buildings dating from the 18th century. The Square has a wonderful open space and also buildings with contemporary style of architecture.
The Town Park is a wonderful place to relax. Here visitors can see roses and different flowers in their full bloom. The trees in the park are labeled and there is also an area for kids to play around. The Ashe Memorial Hall and Museum gives visitors a brief history of the area. For those who wish to enjoy water activities like fishing, paddle boating or canoeing should visit the Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre.
There are also some good shopping areas in Tralee where visitors can find a variety of items including local handicrafts and other things. The best places for shopping area Tralee Shopping Centre, Manor West Retail Park and the Town Center.
