Santiago de Querétaro is the capital of the state of Querétaro, and is commonly referred to as Querétaro. It is located in Central Mexico and is widely considered to be the crossroads of the country. The word Querétaro can be translated into "Island of the Blue Salamanders" and was voted as one of the most beautiful Spanish words.
A recognized urban city, Querétaro is considered by most to be the safest city in Mexico. Its citizens as well as it visitors are able to experience the superior quality of life that this energetic and dynamic city can offer.
