Al Khobar is a part of The Triplet Cities Dhahran, Al Khobar and Dammam. The city has several beautiful beaches, exotic gardens and pretty fountains. All this add to the beauty of the city. Al Khobar offers its visitors with the best facilities. There is a wonderful botanical garden in the city and also a zoo that houses different types of animals. On the eastern side of the city there are numerous entertainment complexes and shopping malls.
One of the main attractions of the city is the impressive causeway connecting the city to Bahrain. The causeway is about 25 miles long and quite attractive. One of the most enjoyable activities in Al Khobar is ATV riding along the coast of Persian Gulf. ATVs can be hired for a fare of SR 80-120. On the south coast of Khobar around the Half Moon Bay there are several beaches where visitors can have fun.
