Kuwait is small yet impressive city. The capital of Kuwait, it is home to several attractions and beautiful sites that are excellent to visit. The Kuwait Towers is the top most attraction and a major landmark of the city. The viewing platform at the Kuwait Towers offers amazing views of the city. Another important landmark in the city is the Liberation Tower. To know more about Kuwait a visit to the National Museum is recommended. For those who want to have a look at the old Kuwaiti architecture, the Bayt Al-Badr is a wonderful place to visit.
Between the National Museum and the Grand Mosque is the Seif Palace. The palace was built in 1896 and features exotic mosaic work. The Entertainment City and the Scientific Center are good places to enjoy and have fun with family and friends. Kuwait also has a Zoological Park that houses different varieties of plants and animals. The Kuwait Aqua Park is a wonderful place to enjoy.
Shopping in Kuwait is a wonderful experience. The city features both traditional markets as well as modern shopping malls. The Kuwait City is served by the Kuwait International Airport. It is the only airport is Kuwait. Taxis are available just outside the arrival terminal. To most of the main points in the city a taxi ride costs around KD 5.
