The ‘Waterford Treasures’ is the name given to the three attractions the Reginald's Tower, Medieval Museum and the Bishop’s Palace. The Reginald's Tower is the oldest building in Ireland that made use of mortar. The tower was built in the 12th century and is the perfect example of the defense system used during the medieval times. The Medieval Museum has several artifacts depicting the medieval history of the area. The Bishop’s Palace also features a good range of exhibits detailing the history of the area since 1700. r\n

The shopping scene in the city is quite famous and a unique experience. Waterford is mainly famous for its crystal ware.  The Waterford Crystal showrooms are located in The Mall. Other good places to find souvenirs and other items in the city are Georges Court Shopping Centre, City Square Shopping Centre, Waterford Food & Craft Market, Waterford Plaza, etc.
