Frankfurt has a rich cultural history and has several museums that are worth visiting. Some buildings date back to the 14th and 15th century. Most of the museums in Frankfurt are located close to each other, in a district called Museumsufer, on the banks of River Maine.
  Visitors can get breathtaking views of the stunning skyline from viewing platforms located all over the city, including the Main Tower. Consisting of 56 floors, this skyscraper has two viewing platforms and is the only skyscraper in Frankfurt with a public viewing observatory. This is considered a must do thing for visitors, since they can get a 360degree view of the entire city and see it like they have never before.
  Another popular attraction in Frankfurt is the Palmengarten, a botanical garden. It is the biggest garden of its kind in Germany. The gardens display a wide range of interesting and exotic flora and also houses 14 quite modern looking greenhouses called The Tropicarium. The Tropicarium enables plants from around the world to be grown at perfectly simulated climates. It is a great learning experience for kids and adults alike and hence is the ideal place for a day out with the family.
Located in the city centre of Frankfurt, is Zeil. It is one of the most popular and busiest shopping streets in Germany. Visitors can find a wide variety of shops, boutiques, department stores, restaurants, snack bars and so on, on Zeil. Also located in the city centre, is Kleinmarkthalle. It is another famous attraction in Frankfurt. A fabulous range of fresh, wholesome food can be found at the market. The Kleinmarkthalle is the largest public market place in the Frankfurt urban area and is a must-visit place for tourists.

Frankfurt Airport is known to be one of the largest airports in the country. It is Frankfurt’s major international airport. Frankfurt Airport lies 12 km southwest of central Frankfurt and is easily accessible by bus, car, taxi or train.

Halal Restaurants

Muslims here come from different ethnic backgrounds and thus a variety of Halal food can be found in Frankfurt. Muslim visitors can find Indian, Pakistani, Turkish and Mediterranean restaurants all around the city. It is however best to double check regarding the authenticity of the food being Halal, before dining at any restaurant.
