The Nuremberg Zoo is another popular attraction. It is home to over 300 species of animals and is one of the largest zoos in Europe. The Nuremberg Zoo also boasts the only Dolphin House in Southern Germany. One of the most popular features of the zoo is its aim to keep its animals and sea mammals in a more natural setting. Nuremberg offers visitors a unique shopping experience. There are several shopping malls, streets, boutiques and arcades all against a historical backdrop. One of the main shopping districts in Nuremberg is part of the old town, called Lorenzer Altstadt.
