Can Tho is located in the heart of the Mekong Delta and for over 200 years it has remained as the main city in the Mekong area. Can Tho is quite a huge city but the city center is compact and is accessible on foot. The Xuan Khanh quarter is a historic area, the Mau Than Street is the main street in the area and is the longest street in the area spanning over 30 Km. The Hai Ba Trung street is among the main attractions in the city and is located directly along the banks of the Mekong River.
There are several bridges in the city from where visitors can enjoy exclusive views. The Nguyen Trai Bridge is one such location from where visitors can get exclusive views of the river and also enjoy cool breeze. The Ho Xang Thoi is also beautiful spot. It is a small artificial pond excellent to visit during sunset. The Luu Huu Phuoc entertainment park is also a wonderful place to visit.
