The historic center of Cascais has some beautiful architecture worth seeing. There are several museums also in Cascais that depict the history and heritage of the area. Some of the museums worth visiting in the town are Casa das Historias de Paula Rego, Museu do Mar and the Municipal Museum Condes de Castro Guimaraes.
There are also some good beaches in Cascais that are good to see and enjoy various activities. The Parque Marechal Carmona has a beautiful rose garden and beautiful flowers and trees. The park is a refreshing place to relax away from the beach crowds. About 2Km from Cascais is Boca do Inferno a beautiful lookout point. At Boca do Inferno, visitors can see waves splashing along the rocks. The best way to see the town is by walking around the area.
