A must-visit street when in Miami Beach is Ocean Drive. It is one of the most famous boulevards in the city and is characterized by its distinct Art Deco buildings, glamorous hotels, and of course the endless stream of people shopping, exploring, eating or just people watching. Muslim tourists should visit this area during the day and avoid the club scene, as the area transforms into a party atmosphere during the night. A stroll through this street is highly recommended for those interested in seeing the numerous Art Deco buildings that line the street. It is a good place to start exploring the Art Deco district as the street is the center of the Miami Art Deco district, which is home to around 800 preserved buildings from the 1930s and the 1940s. Beacon, the Colony Hotel, Waldorf Towers and the Breakwater are some the notable structures in the street while the famous Versace Mansion can also be found here.

Muslim tourists requiring prayer facilities when in Miami Beach could use the facilities provided at the Miami Beach Mosque when necessary. Tourists exploring the art deco buildings on Ocean Drive could therefore ask locals to direct them to this mosque when needed, or get directions to the mosque before leaving their hotel.
Although Ocean Drive houses a number of restaurants, Muslim tourists will not be able to find Halal cuisine at these outlets. They will have to either choose vegetarian or seafood options after ensuring the ordered dish does not contain non-Halal ingredients or get more information regarding Halal restaurants in the area while at the mosque.
