Those visiting the city of Cardiff must make it a point to visit the Cardiff Bay. This diverse water-front attraction is built around ‘The Bay’; a 200-hectare freshwater lake, and is home to hotels, restaurants, offices, parks, theatres, and numerous other attraction. The atmosphere at the Bay is electric, and a stroll along the water's edge is an absolute must. Also while here, visitors will come across numerous must-visit attractions ranging from historic to modern, including Pierhead, Roald Dahl Plass, Senedd, Techniquest, Doctor Who Experience, World of Boats and Wales Millennium Centre amongst others.  These attractions are great for the entire family and offer entertainment throughout the year.

Since the city of Cardiff is home to quite a number of mosques, Muslims visiting the Cardiff Bay area are sure to be able to locate a prayer facility. They can, therefore, ask locals to direct them to the closest mosque or prayer facility to the Bay. The South Wales Islamic Centre, Grangetown Mosque and Jalalia Mosque are just three of the several mosques in the city.

Halal Food

As mentioned above, the Cardiff Bay area houses a number of fantastic dining establishments. Visitors will be able to find many cafés, restaurants and bistros serving a variety of cuisines. Muslim visitors may not be able to find Halal certified food here, but they will definitely be able to find Halal restaurants in and around the city of Cardiff.
