A visit to Anaheim is not complete without a trip to Disneyland at least once. Opened in 1955, this popular theme park in Southern California is Disney’s original. Although the park may not be as large as the Disney Park in Florida, it is still considered to be one of the most enjoyable places to visit with the family. It is a place where memories can be made and where adults as well as children can find loads of fun rides and activities to enjoy together. Divided into eight themed lands, each offering a variety of exciting rides and fun activities, visitors will definitely be spoilt for choice, even if their time at the park is limited. During the summer months visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a spectacular display of fireworks as well. Prayer Facilities

Although Disneyland does not offer prayer facilities for Muslim visitors, Muslims visiting the theme park and requiring these facilities could visit one of the mosques in the city. Jafaria Islamic Society, Muslim American Society, West Coast Islamic Center and Islamic Institute of Orange County are some of the mosques in the city.

Halal Food

Disneyland Park and Downtown Disney offer a plethora of dining options. While these restaurants and cafes may not be Halal certified, Muslim visitors will be able to find vegetarian and seafood dishes here. Those looking specifically for Halal cuisine will be able to find a number of good Halal restaurants in the city.
